Helping You Feel Confident
About Your Work
When I started as a tutor for non-native speakers of English (including TOEFL/IELTS students), I quickly realized how important the world's Lingua Franca is, and how millions of non-native speakers struggle to express themselves as well as they can in their own languages, despite many years of learning and studying English. These struggles aren't limited to just conversations in everyday spaces, but also written correspondence in professional settings and, most importantly, public speaking.
For several years now, I have worked -- and continue to work -- with a wide variety of individuals who are very grateful for the services I provide; from medical doctors and professors, to undergrad and post-grad students. I have helped many build their confidence to speak assuredly in interviews and presentations, and it has been an absolute pleasure to help many overcome the frustrations of not managing to express themselves as they want to. I have had over five thousand hours of one-on-one sessions with clients whose vocabulary and grammar I helped to improve.
Last but not least, I have copy-edited and proofread a wide variety of literature; from medical and social psychology papers (for Spanish, French and Italian doctors, professors and PhD students) to TOEFL/IELTS practice essays. This experience puts me in good stead to proofread and copy-edit any text, making sure it is perfect for submission or publication.
